Built on a 10,000 square meter plot in Cairo, the British Modern School is creatively designed to engage pupils’ curiosity while encouraging a love of learning.

A stimulating, healthy, supportive, stress-free learning environment is the main feature of the BMS spacious and colourful classrooms. All classrooms are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology (e.g., interactive, smart boards, digital projectors, Wi-Fi, surveillance systems and PCs loaded with educational software).
Our focus on health in the building extends to the flooring and furniture which are made using anti- bacterial materials. Spacious classrooms have a reading corner designed to foster a love for books. Children are encouraged to spend time there each day.

The BMS stimulates pupils’ different skills and talents via art workshops equipped with all varieties of art tools to enable pupils to unleash their creativity, discover their own talents and enhance them.

The BMS has two modern computer labs to improve both teaching and learning processes in an attempt to meet the needs of generation z and digital age pupils.

At the BMS, we do believe that actions speak louder than words and understanding based on evidence holds superiority and enriches pupils’ learning experience. As such, pupils of science should conduct as many practical experiments as possible, rather than merely watch science demonstrations or, worse still, study science only from books and whiteboards. The BMS Science Laboratories are carefully designed with the state-of-the-art technology making all kinds of experiments possible.

At the BMS, we believe that every pupil should play multiple instruments and as such we have guitars, violins, recorders, keyboards and many other types of instruments. This comes true through the dedication and professionalism of the Music teacher.
